All's new telephone support and helpline service to aid autistic people, people with learning disabilities, and their family members and carers. We want to support any of these people who might be affected by the current Coronavirus crisis, or who might just need some short-term telephone support.

From Monday, 1 June 2020. the phones will be staffed for 2 hours a day, 6 days a week, and they will return any messages left on the answer phone, available 24 hours a day. Opening times may change based on demand levels, but will be updated on the website. Current opening times are:

Monday: 6-8pm
Tuesday: 4-6pm
Wednesday: 6-8pm
Thursday: 10am-12noon
Friday: 5-7 pm
Saturday:  4-6pm
Sunday: Closed

In addition to listening and providing suitable suggestions and signposting for each call, they offer limited follow up telephone sessions for callers who need more help than one phone call can provide.

We are very grateful to the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership Covid-19 Response Fund for grant funding, enabling this service to be offered completely free of charge to our callers.

Respect For All Counselling is a specialist long-established counselling service covering the whole of Greater Manchester, specifically for autistic people, people with learning disabilities, and their family members and carers.

Dr Sharma’s practice is continuing to follow the Government Guidelines on Surgeries being open.

The surgery is open for business as usual but will continue to book phone call consultations only with "No Walk In" until further notice.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILST WE ARE STILL OPEN AS USUAL, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE PRACTICE UNLESS WE HAVE ASKED YOU TO ATTEND.

All queries can be dealt with by telephone, on 0161 652 1876, and prescription requests can be made via email Oldccg.southchadderton.P85607@nhs.net  as usual.

If you need to order a repeat prescription please email Oldccg.southchadderton.P85607@nhs.net , please only contact the surgery to order medication if you are unable to email your request. Prescriptions take 72 hours to be processed.

We have made the decision to temporarily change all appointments to telephone appointments.

Patients who are given a telephone appointment will be contacted and triaged by a clinician. Please ensure that a safe working distance (2 metres) is maintained  between patients and staff.
These steps have been taken in the best interests of patients and staff alike.

Please do not attend the surgery unless absolutely necessary.
Thank you for your understanding and patience at this time.
