Worried about dementia?
If you're worried about your memory or think you may have dementia, it's a good idea to see the GP. To help rule out other causes of memory problems, your GP will organise blood tests and memory or cognitive test which the nurse can do. The practice will refer you to the specialist who may want to organise further tests, which may include brain scans such as a CT scan, or preferably an MRI scan.
